More Black Consumers Seek Suncare Product, According to New Mintel Report

The rise of skin-friendly ingredient inclusions that promote benefits are fueling SPF skincare and suncare.

Mintel data also shows that Black consumers are increasing engagement with various products and services within the suncare category. For example, 16% of Black consumers now use tanning oil and lotion, up from 6% in 2022. Additionally, 12% of Black consumers now get professional spray tans, up from 5% in 2022.
